The Gamadi backpack by Etnustenun integrates fabrics that are processed with Pahikung’s special ikat techniques. It also combines the use of denim and cowhide materials that allow us create nature-inspired patterns. We design this backpack to fit everything, even a tablet within so you can have your gadget anywhere you are traveling to. It is complete with 2 compartments, 1 outer and inner pocket with zipper, a gadget pocket, and a small space to put your pens in.
Pahikung is a type of fabric made with the ikat and webbing technique then given a plant-based dye. Woven fabrics with this technique are made using bamboo blades or sticks that are inserted between the threads. Lifted and pressed following a certain pattern afterward. The patterns are mostly inspired by nature – animals and plants – and surprisingly each one symbolizes valuable philosophy. The feature of backpack square:
